Chesterfield County Public Schools in Virginia welcomes new superintendent

Virginia – On Jan. 17, 2025, Dr. John Murray stepped into his role as superintendent of Chesterfield County Public Schools. Dr. Murray has been with the district since 2004, serving in a variety of leadership capacities, most recently as interim superintendent, deputy superintendent and executive director of constituent services. He succeeded Dr. Mervin Daugherty.
