The $40.6 million park project is funded through the 4B Corporation. Once the final design is completed later this year, bidding and construction will begin in 2024 and be completed by 2026.

The Bay Colony Park features numerous athletic areas, including five softball fields, four Pony-Colt baseball fields, a 5K trail, a 9-hole disc golf course, two soccer fields and six tennis and pickleball courts. In addition, the park will also include 896 parking spaces, lighted roads, restrooms, a maintenance building and concession stands. The park’s green space and stormwater retention solutions include detention ponds, irrigation and landscaping.
