Georgia – Tekquell Watson has been appointed as the next chief information officer for Macon-Bibb County. She brings more than 25 years of experience in public, military and federal government agencies and entities. Watson will use her experience in government technology solutions to drive innovation in Macon-Bibb County.
Minnesota – Tarek Tomes has been named as the next vice president for information technology and chief information officer for the University of Minnesota. Tomes brings experience in service-oriented leadership and will lead the university’s IT community.
Massachusetts – Sandi Wolchansky Silk has been named by MassDevelopment as the next executive vice president of real estate. Silk, a tenured real estate industry leader, will oversee MassDevelopment’s statewide development initiatives.
Missouri – Melissa Combs has been announced as the next city administrator for the city of Kennett. Previously serving as executive director of the Kennett Chamber of Commerce, Combs will work with city leadership and residents to lead new projects and initiatives for the city.
California – Terrance Davis has been appointed by the city of Brentwood as its next assistant city manager. Davis brings more than 20 years of local government experience in California to the role, where he will guide implementation of the city’s long-term General Plan.
Arizona – Veronica Shorr has been named executive director for the Western Arizona Council of Governments. Brining experience as a community leader to the role, she previously worked with nonprofits, regional collaborators and community developers across Arizona.
Florida – Jabarie Walker has been welcomed by the city of St. Cloud as its next assistant city manager. Walker, a long-time public servant in New Orleans, will join St. Cloud and collaborate with the mayor and city leadership to build new relationships and drive innovation in civic leadership.
Utah – Wayne Vaught has been appointed as the next acting president for Utah State University. Vaught brings significant academic leadership and community building experience to the role. Working with faculty and students in the past, he will work closely with the current president to assume new responsibilities during the transition.
