The Texas Finance Commission (TFC) will spend $53 million to build a replacement structure for its Austin-based headquarters. The construction date has not yet been released.
The project calls for demolishing the TFC Building – otherwise known as Building 10 – and its associated parking area.
As part of the demolition efforts, the TFC will clean up and remove hazards to pave the way for future construction.
Once the area is clear, the project will erect a three-story structure on the same property, covering 65,000 square feet.
Plans include building surface parking with approximately 200 available spaces. Additional information will be provided concluding the planning and design stage.
