The Arkansas Valley Conduit is a proposed 130-mile pipeline and water delivery system that will provide clean, reliable drinking water to communities from Pueblo to Lamar.
These projects will focus on better water distribution and storage, improving safety measures, boosting hydropower generation and providing water treatment solutions.
Projects include rural water systems, water storage, conservation, transportation, nature-based solutions, dam safety, water purification and reuse and desalination.
The funding will support critical infrastructure improvements while also advancing an initiative that looks to conserve nearly a third of U.S. land by the end of the decade.
