The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has nearly completed the design phase of a $95 million project to build a Payson Parkway interchange connecting Interstate 15 and state Route 198.
The new interchange at I-15 in southern Utah County will include on- and off-ramps in the first phase of construction. UDOT officials say the project is intended to improve safety and traffic flow while providing a new access point for the growing corridor.
The project is funded through the state transportation program administered by UDOT. Officials are currently gathering public feedback as the design process moves toward completion.
While the UDOT finalizes the design phase, state officials will provide additional updates on the project. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2027.
