Ohio – The city of Middletown has appointed Ashley Combs to interim city manager. Combs has been with the city for nine years, previously serving as assistant city manager, development services director, planning director and city planner. She brings 16 years of planning experience in the public and private sectors to the role. Combs will replace Nathan Cahall – the other assistant city manager – in the role as the City Council wants both to have a shot before making a final decision. She began her role Jan. 1, 2025.
