Energy storage innovation takes center stage at Houston summit

March 20, 2025

The Energy Storage Summit USA 2025 will bring industry leaders, policymakers and innovators to Houston, Texas, to discuss the rapid advancements and prospects of energy storage in the U.S.

This gathering comes at a pivotal moment, as the nation witnesses significant advancements in various energy storage technologies, crucial for enhancing grid reliability and supporting the integration of renewable energy sources.

A Study for the DOE Energy Storage Systems Program put the 10-year economic value of energy storage in the U.S. at $228 billion. The Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) found 11 states have targets for energy storage deployment

California is at the forefront of this transformation, boasting over 13 gigawatts (GW) of grid-scale energy storage installations, while other markets in the Midwest and Southeast are preparing for new deployment opportunities.

By bringing together experts and decision-makers, the summit seeks to chart a path toward a more resilient and sustainable energy future, leveraging a variety of storage technologies to meet the nation’s evolving energy needs.

The Energy Storage Summit USA 2025 will:

  • Explore Technological Advancements: Discuss the latest developments in energy storage technologies and their applications.
  • Address Policy and Market Dynamics: Examine regulatory frameworks and market conditions influencing the deployment of energy storage solutions.
  • Promote Collaboration: Foster partnerships among stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of diverse energy storage systems.

The summit is scheduled for March 26-27 at the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel. Interested parties can learn more about the summit and book a ticket here
