Yale selects 24th president

Connecticut – Maurie McInnis, Ph.D., currently a Yale Corporation trustee and president of Stony Brook University, will become Yale’s 24th president, succeeding President Peter Salovey. She is set to begin her tenure July 1. She received her bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Virginia in 1988 before earning her master’s and doctorate degrees from Yale in the History of Art in 1990 and 1996.
