Virginia – The city of Fairfax welcomed Valmarie Turner as the city’s first deputy city manager on Oct. 16. Bringing nearly 30 years of public sector experience to the role, Turner left her previous position as the acting director of Loudoun County’s Finance and Procurement Department to accept the new role.
