Torrance, California, chooses new finance director

California – The city of Torrance has chosen Ian Dailey as its next finance director. Dailey most recently served as Torrance’s deputy city manager since December 2023. He joined the city in 2018, starting as a revenue manager before transitioning to accounting manager and assistant finance director. He brings 16 years of finance and management experience to the position. He began his role Feb. 9.
