Thomasville, Georgia, names permanent city manager

Georgia – Chris White has been promoted to permanent city manager of Thomasville. White has been working as the city’s interim city manager since February 2024. Before stepping into the interim role, White was Thomasville’s assistant city manager since August 2021. He brings more than 27 years of municipal operation experience to the role. His appointment was effective immediately Aug. 26, 2024.
