The project will feature an on-site treatment facility in conjunction with off-site infrastructure designed to convey raw wastewater, effluent and reuse water.
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) will allocate $75.9 million to support upcoming water system improvement and lead service line replacement projects.
Local governments and water districts are the primary funding recipients and will use the grants to address aging and deteriorating water infrastructure.
The projects funded by these grants will address a variety of community needs, from replacing aging pipes and pumps to upgrading wastewater treatment facilities.
