Arkansas – Dalaney Thomas has been named the director of tourism for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. Thomas was appointed to the position by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Oct. 23. 

Amber Holloway — Ohio

Ohio – Amber Holloway will replace Brad Townsend as the city manager for West Carrollton on Dec. 17. Holloway is currently serving as the assistant city manager for the city of Vandalia. Holloway brings nine years of public sector experience to the role. 

Jonathan Walker — Alabama

Alabama – Jonathan Walker has been appointed by the city of Gulf Shores as the new city administrator. Walker brings 26 years of development, management and administration experience to the position, most recently serving as the city manager for the city of Chamblee, Georgia. Walker

Jennifer Swezey — Oklahoma

Oklahoma – The city of Sand Springs officially swore in Jennifer Swezey as its new assistant city manager on Oct. 23. Most recently serving as the assistant city manager in Muskogee since 2021, Swezey has been working as Sand Springs’ assistant city manager since Oct.
