Berkeley, California, selects city manager

California – The Berkeley City Council selected Paul Buddenhagen as city manager. Buddenhagen is the current city manager of Emeryville and previously served as Berkeley’s deputy city manager. He will replace Dee Williams-Ridley. Buddenhagen will begin his role in September 2024.
