Cherelle Parker – Mayor; Philadelphia

Pennsylvania – Cherelle Parker has been elected as the city of Philadelphia’s 100th mayor. The first woman to lead the city, Parker brings 17 years of government experience to the position. She succeeds the previous mayor, Jim Kenney. 

John Dossey – City Manager; Pekin City, Illinois

Illinois – The Pekin City Council has chosen John Dossey as its city manager. Dossey has been serving as the city’s interim city manager since May 2023, previously serving as the city’s chief of police since October 2015. Dossey began his duties on Nov. 6.

Lily Morgan – City Manager; Gold Hill, Oregon

Oregon – Lily Morgan will resign from the Oregon State Legislature to accept a position as city manager for the city of Gold Hill. Morgan has served in the House since 2021 and previously served as a Grants Pass city councilor and Josephine County commissioner.
