University of Alabama appoints new CIO

Alabama – Danny Tang has been appointed chief information officer (CIO) of The University of Alabama. Tang has more than two decades of IT experience, previously serving as a senior IT executive at multiple institutions. He most recently served as associate vice president for Technology at Furman University. Tang will officially assume his responsibilities Feb. 17.
