The Rural Partners Network program works to address multiple needs simultaneously through infrastructure improvements, workforce development and clean energy projects.
This program will modernize the application process for interconnection, helping to drastically cut down the time needed to review, approve and connect new energy projects across the nation.
These grants will be used to further efforts to maximize deployment of clean, reliable and affordable energy solutions local to the tribal communities, as well as ensuring their energy sovereignty.
The selected communities will focus on projects such as building efficiency and electrification, clean transportation, energy infrastructure improvements, microgrid development, renewable energy and job training.
Projects seeks to increase resilience in emergencies, lower energy costs for residents and businesses, and provide employment opportunities in rural areas
