The Georgia Ports Authority Board has approved an additional 50 acres of pavement to handle the growing volume of trade at the Colonel’s Island Terminal.
This funding will support projects looking to improve the health of fish, wildlife, and aquatic ecosystems through various restoration and protection efforts.
Projects funded will address a variety of wildfire risks and concerns, ranging from hazardous fuels and biomass reduction to prescribed fire treatments.
