The Livernois IMF is a key transit hub for shipping containers, facilitating smooth transfers between rail and road transport and playing an essential role in Detroit’s supply chain.
The H2Hubs program’s goal is to create a nationwide network connecting clean hydrogen producers, users and infrastructure while supporting its production, storage, transportation and applications.
The program focuses on converting empty units and underused buildings into affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families in communities outside of New York City.
The grants will be allocated to local, regional and tribal communities for projects to reduce fatalities and severe injuries on rural and urban roads across the U.S.
The projects set to be funded include the redevelopment of the region’s key airports, the replacement of the aging Midtown Bus Terminal and a comprehensive rehabilitation of the George Washington Bridge.
The SMART USA facility will focus on using so-called “digital twins” to enhance semiconductor design, manufacturing, advanced packaging, assembly and testing in the U.S.
Projects include rural water systems, water storage, conservation, transportation, nature-based solutions, dam safety, water purification and reuse and desalination.
This approval gives municipalities access to low-interest-rate financing to begin work such as upgrading treatment facilities to remove emerging contaminants from drinking water.
