Colorado – Tansy Hayward has been appointed city manager of Thornton. The City Council unanimously voted for Hayward out of five finalists. She most recently served as deputy city manager for Raleigh, North Carolina, the latest in a career spanning over 18 years. She will take the role over from Kevin Woods. Hayward will begin her tenure Oct. 21, 2024.
