King County in the Seattle area is accepting applications for two projects for a renewable energy pilot program that uses sewage to keep businesses warm during the winter.
In an effort to strengthen the nation’s power grid, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded $3.46 billion to 58 innovative projects that focus on delivering affordable, clean power, particularly to disadvantaged communities.
The Department of Energy (DOE) will make $400 million in federal funds available to help states and communities update building energy codes. State officials interested in the funding must submit letters of intent by Nov. 21.
