Purdue University promotes permanent CIO and vice president for IT

Indiana – Purdue University has promoted Christian Theumer to permanent CIO and vice president for IT. Theumer has been serving in an interim capacity in both roles since July 1, 2024. Before his interim role, Theumer was the university’s deputy CIO. He was officially appointed to the permanent position Jan. 1, 2025.
