New York MTA appoints president of Metro-North Railroad

New York – The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has appointed Justin Vonashek as president of MTA Metro-North Railroad. He most recently served as the organization’s executive vice president and COO. He joined the MTA in January 2016 as vice president of system safety, later promoted to senior vice president of operations. Vonashek will succeed Catherine Rinaldi on April 1, 2025.
