New Haven, Connecticut, names finance director

Connecticut – New Haven’s mayor Dorinda Borer has appointed Michael Gormany as the city’s new finance director. Since 2004, Gormany has served the city of New Haven in various financial roles, including accounts payable auditor, policy analyst and controller. In his most recent role, since 2017, he has served as the Elm City’s budget director.
