Missouri Department of Natural Resources selects new director of state parks

Missouri – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) has a new leader. Laura Hendrickson will step in as director of the Division of State Parks, assuming the role effective Jan. 30, 2025. She brings nearly three decades of state park experience to the position. Hendrickson most recently served as interim division director for MDNR. Before that, she was a deputy division director since 2021, director for the Ozarks Region for Missouri State Parks and a park superintendent for multiple parks.
