Virginia – Stacey Jordan has been appointed as the new deputy city manager of Hopewell. Jordan currently serves as the CFO for Hopewell and brings 20 years of experience in financial management and business leadership to the role.
Washington – Jake Hammock has been selected as Seattle Information Technology Department’s new assistant CTO for Security and Infrastructure. Hammock brings over 10 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity leadership to the role.
South Dakota – Mark Wixon has been selected as the new commissioner of the Bureau of Information and Technology (BIT). Wixon steps into the role following the departure of Madhu Gottumukkala.
Ohio – Andrew Aiello has been appointed as the next CEO of Cincinnati Metro. Aiello currently serves as Cincinnati Metro’s deputy general manager and steps into the role following the retirement of Darryl Haley.
Arkansas – Steve Leslie has been selected as the new associate dean of faculty affairs at Arkansas State University Neil Griffin College of Business, effective July 1. In his new role, he will identify and coordinate professional development opportunities for faculty, support individual faculty members, and monitor faculty performance metrics for AACSB accreditation.
Arizona – Noah Johnson has been appointed as the Queen Creek Police Department’s first assistant chief of police. He has been with the department since 2020 and brings over 25 years of law enforcement experience to the role.
Maryland – Linda Turner has been appointed as the new Calvert county administrator, effective July 1. Turner brings over 20 years of experience in public administration, local government leadership, strategic management and community engagement.
Colorado – Jackie Kapushion has been appointed as the next superintendent of St. Vrain Valley Schools, effective July 1. Kapushion brings over 35 years of experience in public education to the role, including 10 years with St. Vrain Valley Schools.
Wisconsin – Karen Frost has been selected as the new executive director Milwaukee’s Water Council. Frost steps into the role following the retirement of Dean Amhaus and she brings over 10 years of experience with the organization to the role.
Pennsylvania – Scott A. Sauer has been appointed as the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority’s (SEPTA) new general manager. Sauer currently serves as the authority’s interim general manager and has nearly 35 years of experience with SEPTA.
California – Gudiel Crosthwaite has been appointed as the new superintendent of the Sunnyvale School District effective July 1. Crosthwaite brings nearly 30 years of experience in education to the role and steps into the position following the retirement of Michael Gallagher.
New York – Iris Rodriguez-Rosa has been appointed as the commissioner of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation (NYC Parks). Rodriguez-Rosa brings nearly 40 years of experience with NYC Parks to the role and is the first Latina to hold the position.
