Georgia – Joe Phillips has been appointed as chief strategy and technology officer for Fulton County Schools. Phillips brings 10 years of experience with school districts to the role and began his career with FCS as chief information officer.
Arizona – Djordje Pavlovic has been appointed as the new engineering services director for the city of Glendale. Pavlovic has been with the city for over 10 years and previously served as a structural engineer and building official for the city.
California – Joan Powe has been named the new procurement contracts administrator for the city of South Pasadena. Powe brings experience with San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments and Los Angeles County in public sector procurement, contract management and RFP development.
Arkansas – Shelley Short has been elected as the Arkansas Alternate Director on the Southern Economic Development Council Board of Directors. Short currently serves as the Arkadelphia Alliance President and CEO.
Virginia – Bradley Gotshall has been appointed as the next county administrator for Warren County. Gotchall will step into the role following the retirement of Edwin Daley and previously served as the Lower Paxton Township manager in Dauphin County, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
California – Ryan Gohlich has been appointed next city manager of Beverly Hills. Gohlich currently serves as assistant city manager and will step into the role following the retirement of Nancy Hunt-Coffey.
North Carolina – Rosetta Davis has been appointed as deputy city attorney for the city of Greensboro. Rosetta steps into the role following the departure of Lora Cubbage and has been with the city since 2016.
Arizona – Tony Moore has been selected as the executive director of information technology at the University of Arizona Global Campus. Moore brings nearly 20 years of experience in higher education IT and previously served as chief information officer at Prairie View A&M University.
New York – Michael Dylan Pal has been named director of public transit at the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Metro in the city of Buffalo. Dylan Pal most recently served as the chief transportation officer for Valley Metro River Parishes Transit Authority and brings 28 years of experience to the role.
Delaware – Caroline Klinger has been appointed as the new director of communications for the city of Wilmington. Klinger steps into the role following the departure of Matt Ford and joins the city after serving as deputy director of communications for the Delaware State Senate Majority Caucus.
Michigan – Malisa McCreedy has been named the next transportation manager for the city of Ann Arbor. McCreedy brings over 20 years of leadership experience in transportation to the role and most recently served as director of transportation and mobility for the city of Gainesville.
Florida – Crystal Feast has been appointed as the next finance director for the city of Cape Coral. Feast brings over 10 years of municipal and financial management experience to the role and joined the city in 2022 as deputy director of financial services.
