Jacksonville, North Carolina, names new assistant city managers

North Carolina – The city of Jacksonville has named both Edward Terrell Blackmon and Anthony Prinz as assistant city managers.

  • Blackmon most recently served as city manager for Henderson, holding the role for five years. He brings almost 20 years of executive leadership experience to the role, leading community development corporations, housing authorities and economic development departments.
  • Prinz has been with the city for more than 14 years, starting as a transportation services administrator before moving into his most recent role as transportation services director. He brings 22 years of transportation experience with him to the role.
