Florida's Seminole County Government selects director of public works

Florida – The Seminole County Government has selected William Slot as its director of public works. Slot has been with the county for a year, starting in January 2024 as chief technology officer and administrator for sustainability and adaptability. Slot brings decades of public and private sector leadership experience to the role. He most recently served as chief innovation officer for the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority from 2018 to 2023.
