Elgin Community College in Illinois names new president

Illinois – Elgin Community College has chosen Peggy Heinrich, Ed.D., as the institution’s first woman president. Dr. Heinrich has been serving as the college’s interim president since the summer of 2024. She brings 24 years of higher education experience to the position.
