Chancellor of New York City Public Schools System named

New York – Melissa Aviles-Ramos has been appointed chancellor of the New York City Public Schools System. Aviles-Ramos currently serves as deputy chancellor for family and community engagement and external affairs. She brings more than 17 years of educational experience to the role, replacing David Banks.
