King County in the Seattle area is accepting applications for two projects for a renewable energy pilot program that uses sewage to keep businesses warm during the winter.
In an effort to strengthen the nation’s power grid, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded $3.46 billion to 58 innovative projects that focus on delivering affordable, clean power, particularly to disadvantaged communities.
Projects part of Moving Florida Forward Infrastructure Initiative, which ensures the state’s transportation infrastructure can meet current and future demands.
Projects are part of the airport’s latest master plan, which identifies projects that would help the facility meet travel demand through 2040. The FAA approved the plan earlier this year.
The Texas Water Development Board awarded $62 million to seven projects to improve wastewater systems. The projects include expanding facility capacity and upgrading infrastructure, including dams.
