Georgia – The Chatham Area Transit (CAT) Board of Directors named Stephanie Cutter interim executive director/CEO. Cutter has served as CAT’s chief financial officer since 2021. She previously served the city of Savannah for 29 years.

Virginia – The Roanoke City Council appointed Lydia Pettis Patton, Ph.D., interim city manager. She began her role effective immediately June 11. Dr. Patton replaced Bob Cowell after his resignation. She previously served as the first female city manager for Portsmouth, Virginia.

Amarillo, Texas – Grayson Path has accepted the city manager role with the city of Amarillo. The position has been vacant for a year. Path previously served as city manager for Paris, Texas. He will officially assume his duties Aug. 12. He

Dallas City Council members have elected councilmembers Tennell Atkins and Adam Bazaldua to serve as mayor pro tem and deputy mayor pro tem. The appointments will be effective June 17 and will last a year. Atkins was first elected to represent Dallas

Florida – Escambia County has named Nikki Powell human resources director. Powell brings over 20 years of experience in local government to the role. She joined Escambia County in 2022 as labor relations manager. Her prior role was as the Escambia County clerk of the court

Oregon – The Oregon Water Resources Department (OWRD) has chosen Ivan Gall as its director. Gall brings more than 30 years of experience in water science, water resource management and environmental policy to the role. 

Kentucky – Ozzy Gibson has been named executive director of Louisville’s Transit Authority of River City (TARC). Gibson has served as interim executive director since January 2024. Gibson has more than three decades of experience working in local government, including roles with the Louisville Metro Police
