Baltimore names new director of City Department of Transportation

Maryland – Veronica McBeth will be the next director of the Baltimore City Department of Transportation. McBeth currently serves as deputy assistant secretary for transportation policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). She will replace Veobia Akilo, officially beginning her tenure Jan. 13, 2025.
