Tennessee – The Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) has promoted Chundra Smith to public information officer. Smith had previously served as MATA’s community engagement manager.

Virginia – Laszlo Palko has been selected by the Fairfax City Council as city manager. Palko will assume his duties April 29. He comes to Fairfax after serving as city manager of Manassas Park, Vermont, since 2017.
New Mexico – Dana Flannery will lead New Mexico’s Medicaid program. Flannery will serve as director for the program following Nicole Comeaux’s January departure. Flannery previously served as assistant director and senior policy adviser for Arizona’s Medicaid agency.
