Indiana – After working as the operations and development division director for the city of Bloomington’s parks and recreation department for two years, Tim Street has been appointed as the interim director of parks and recreation for the city. He succeeded previous Director Paula McDevitt

James Smith — Maine

Maine – Bar Harbor has chosen James Smith to fill their vacant town manager position. Smith has served as the city of Brewer’s assistant city manager for a decade and will begin his new position on Nov. 13. He will officially succeed previous Town Manager

Minnesota – Richard Spiczka has been nominated by the Bemidji City Council as the new city manager. Selected on Oct. 2, Spiczka will replace Nate Mathews in the city manager position. Currently serving as the city manager for Pequot Lakes, Spiczka will assume his role

Dalaney Thomas — Arkansas

Arkansas – Dalaney Thomas has been named the director of tourism for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. Thomas was appointed to the position by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Oct. 23.
